Creative Directors

Helen Galliano & Dimitri Launder

Helen is a creative director, producer and programmer, with a background in human rights, performance and large-scale public art projects. She has planned and delivered a variety of dynamic cultural events in logistically complex sites alongside multiple partners, and has considerable experience of the cultural and social landscape of London and beyond, working closely with communities and audiences for organisations including Coventry City of Culture, LIFT, Index on Censorship, Artangel and the Greater London Authority. helen@arbonauts.org

Dimitri is Artist Gardener – where he consults, designs and delivers gently provocative planting propagations. He has worked with organisations like RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Arts Catalyst, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, ICA, South London Gallery and Southwark Council, resulting in a diverse spectrum of works from conversations to walks, installations, guerrilla interventions, exhibitions, festivals, live television programs and often gardens. Dimitri was co-founder of AREA-10, a project space in Peckham that supported 2000+ emergent artists to make and show new work in an independent process-led environment. dimitri@arbonauts.org
